Povitrulya has been making counted cross stitch kits for sixteen years. We are not a reseller: our own team draws the designs, matches the colours, prints the charts and packs every box in Ukraine. If something in a chart looks wrong, there is a real person to tell — and it actually gets fixed.

Our kits ship to stitchers in the US, the UK and across Europe. Most of what we make leaves the country, which has made us unusually careful about the things that travel badly: charts that are hard to read, thread that runs short, instructions that assume you already know everything.

What Comes in the Box

Everything you need for one evening's start: fabric, threads, a needle, a full-colour counted chart and instructions. The fabric is always cut larger than the stitched design — two inches of margin on every side — so there is something to grip in the hoop and enough left over for framing.

Threads are matched to the DMC palette. That matters more than it sounds: if you run out of a colour, or decide halfway through that you want a warmer red, the number you need is on the shelf of every craft store in America.

Every kit also carries a QR code. It opens video instructions for the stitches, and a direct line to us — ask a question, request your chart as a PDF, or tell us a colour ran short.

New to Cross Stitch?

Counted cross stitch looks harder than it is. There is one stitch. You repeat it. The chart tells you which square gets which colour, and that is the whole skill.

For a first project, take a bookmark or one of our small cross stitch kits. You finish in a few evenings and end up holding something real, instead of abandoning five percent of a large canvas in a drawer. Our bookmark kits come with two pieces of fabric, so there is room to make a second one — or to recover from a first attempt you would rather forget.

If you want a long project instead, we make larger kits too. Nobody is keeping score.

Most of our buyers are adults who stitch to put the phone down. An hour of counted cross stitch is an hour your hands are busy and your head is quiet. It is not a competition, there is no streak to maintain, and nothing in the box needs charging.

Every Piece Deserves to Be Stitched

We mean that literally, and it shapes how we handle problems. If a colour runs short, write to us and we will send more thread. If the paper chart is lost, creased, or simply awkward to hold on the sofa, we will send it to you as a PDF. If a section of the design is not behaving, we will work through it with you.

A kit abandoned at sixty percent helps nobody, least of all the person who started it. Finishing is the whole point.

Are these counted or stamped kits? Counted. The fabric is blank and you work from the chart. Nothing is printed on the fabric.

Is this suitable for a beginner? Yes. Every kit includes instructions, and our site and YouTube channel cover the basics — separating strands, starting without a knot, reading a chart.
