The Holy Martyr Alexandra is a Christian saint who became a martyr for her faith during the persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire. The Holy Martyr Alexandra became an example of faith for Christians in times of severe persecution, when every manifestation of Christian faith could be punished with death. Her martyrdom is an expression of devotion to Christ and the ability to stand for the faith even in the face of death.
